on 26 April, Estonian MP Kristo Ann Vaga started a bicycle ride to raise funds to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The official is already at the finish line.

On 20 April, Kristo Ann Vaga announced his intention to cover more than 1,700 km separating the capitals of Estonia and Ukraine by bicycle on the social network X (former Twitter).

The Estonian MP decided to cycle from Tallinn to Kyiv in order to raise funds for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The war is one bike ride away. To illustrate this, I am cycling from Tallinn to Kyiv. My goal is to collect donations for the Ukrainian army. We must not forget that there is a full-scale war in our neighbourhood," Christo Ann Vaga signed his ad.

According to the plan, the trip should last six days. Already on 29 April, the deputy reported that he had covered 1000 kilometres and reached Poland.

Cruising in windy but beautiful Poland. More than 1000 kilometres of my journey is done and in the evening I will be very close to the magnificent Ukraine, - he wrote in X.

Christo Ann Waga is raising money for the 69th Sniffing Brigade, a charity dedicated to helping Ukrainian defenders. The organisation says the goal is to raise €36,000 to buy two vehicles and 35 FPV drones for the Ukrainian armed forces.

For a donation of more than 100 euros, the organisers promise to give a themed patch as a souvenir. And for a donation of more than 750 euros - three patches, including one unique from the Ukrainian unit.
