The President announced how many settlements have already been liberated from the invaders


The Ukrainian military and intelligence have achieved significant results in the destruction of the logistics of the occupying forces, ammunition depots, command posts and equipment.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already liberated 1,060 settlements from Russian invaders. This was announced by the Ukrainian leader in his video message to the Ukrainians.
At the same time, the president noted that most of them are badly damaged and a lot of resources will be needed to restore them.
An important task for August-September is to prepare the liberated territories for a normal life for people in the autumn-winter period. To this end, a "rapid recovery plan" has been launched, in which many countries will take part. Estonia became the first country which has undertaken to restore civil objects in the Zhytomyr region, - he told.
At the same time, the head of state noted that Ukrainian troops are delivering precise strikes against enemy bases and its logistics routes. The President also expressed hope that the weapons of partners, which Ukraine receives from abroad, will affect the course of the war. Speaking about the participation of the West, Zelensky emphasized that the United States intends to provide Ukraine with a new package of financial and military assistance.
It should be noted that the Office of the President has developed a plan for the rapid restoration of the social infrastructure of Ukraine called Fast Recovery - its implementation will require $17.5 billion.
