After strikes on Uman, Kuleba again asks for F-16 fighters
Modern fighter jets will be able to protect Ukraine from Russia's insidious and cynical attacks.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba wrote this on Twitter.
After the brutal and cynical Russian strikes on Uman and Mykolayiv, Kuleba again appealed to the world community for F-16 fighter jets.
According to Kuleba, the modern aircraft will help protect Ukraine from Russia's insidious and cynical attacks during which civilians, including children, are killed.
Rocket attacks that kill innocent Ukrainians in their sleep, including a 2-year-old child, are Russia's response to all peace initiatives. The way to peace is to expel Russia from Ukraine. The way to peace is to arm Ukraine with F-16s and protect children from Russian terror.
It is worth recalling that on the night of 28 April Russia fired 23 missiles at Ukraine. One of the missiles hit a multi-storey building in Uman. So far, 10 people are known dead, including a 2-year-old child, and 18 wounded.
