Polish schools will be able to accept 200-300 thousand Ukrainian children

Polish Minister of Education and Science Przemysław Czarneck warned that there could be problems in big cities like Warsaw and Krakow, where there would be too many applicants.
This was stated by the Minister of Education and Science of Poland, Przemysław Czarnek, in an interview for Polish Radio.
We are systematically preparing for this. We have a very flexible system, created together with the local government and the responsible authorities, - assured Czarnek.
According to him, Polish schools in September will be able to accept 200-300 thousand children from Ukraine.
This can create problems in big cities like Warsaw or Krakow, where there may be too many people for one school. Then other alternatives will be offered.
According to the Ministry of Education of Poland, there are about 700-800 thousand Ukrainian children of school age. The minister added that about 500-600 thousand of them study remotely in their Ukrainian schools.
