Police officers near Avdiivka took a stranded occupier captive

Near Avdiivka, police officers of the White Angel group detained a lost Russian occupant during an evacuation flight. This was reported by the National Police on 9 February.

The White Angel crew came to one of the settlements near Avdeevka to rescue a wounded civilian. On the street they saw a man in the military uniform of the Russian Federation and detained him.
It was preliminarily established that the occupant was convicted in Russia for inflicting grievous bodily harm, and came to Ukraine to participate in hostilities, for which he was promised amnesty.
The native of the Republic of Tatarstan with the call sign "Melky" fought in the punitive unit "Storm-Z", which the enemy threw to storm Avdeevka. The prisoner had the task to take his wounded from the battlefield, however, came under fire, was wounded and got lost, - stated in the message.
The police officers took the prisoner to a joint team of the National Police and the SBU, which is investigating Russian war crimes.
