Aerial reconnaissance team freed an AFU soldier from captivity using a drone

Aerial scouts of the 95th separate airborne assault brigade of the AFU have freed a Ukrainian fighter from captivity with the help of a drone. This was told by the brigade's aerial scout Eduard for Radio Liberty.

During the fighting, the RF military were able to enter the trench, the Ukrainian soldier shot back, and when he realised that from both sides are moving occupants, probably decided to surrender as a prisoner.

The aerial scouts saw how the Russian military tied up the AFU soldier and put him in the trench, so they decided not to wait for the end of the assault.

The aerial scouts decided to drop ammunition one by one on the occupants from the Mavic quadrocopter. Eduard says that immediately after that there were many wounded and dead occupants in the trench.

When the Ukrainian fighter realised that he was not threatened by anything, he was able to free his hands, which were not strongly bound. To indicate the direction of movement to the fighter, the military switched on the quadrocopter lights, which are usually switched off for camouflage.

And it started flickering those lights. This guy saw it, didn't get confused. Saw that there is a drop, but they do not work on it, that is their own, - said the aerial scout.

At some time the military saw that the fighter froze in place and a Russian military man was standing not far from him.

Then the aerial reconnaissance drones dropped first one munition on the Russian military man, with which he was wounded, and then a second munition, which was used to finish him off.

With the help of a drone, the Ukrainian fighter was escorted for about a kilometre until he moved away to a safe distance. He hid in a dugout, where an evacuation team came to pick him up.
