An adviser to the head of the Office of the President stressed that there was no option to end the war but to inflict a military defeat on Russia.
The advisor to the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Mykhaylo Podolyak, has urged the West to "think faster" and provide Ukraine with the necessary weapons for its victory, he wrote on Twitter.
Podolyak stressed that the lack of agreement on the supply of combat tanks to Ukraine by Western countries was "global indecision". He commented thus on the outcome of the Ukrainian Defence Contact Group meeting held at the Ramstein airbase.
"You will still help Ukraine with the necessary weapons and realize: there is no other option to end the war except the defeat of Russia in it. But today's indecision is killing even more of our people. Every day of delay is the death of Ukrainians. Think faster," he wrote, referring to the leadership of Western countries and, above all, Germany.
We would like to point out that the Ukrainian defence contact group (Ramstein-8) held a meeting on 20 January. US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin urged its participants not to slow down in providing support to Ukraine. At the same time, German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said that the allies had no unanimous opinion on deliveries of modern Western-made tanks to Ukraine.
