Enemy takes heavy casualties near Bakhmut - UASBGS

In Donetsk Region, Ukrainian border guards repelled Russian attacks and liquidated two dozen invaders. In particular, they managed to repel attempts of the occupants to storm positions near Bakhmut. This was reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine.

In particular, the border guards reported that the enemy tried to shell and seize the border guards' stronghold. However, the Ukrainian defenders stopped the occupants with small arms and grenade launchers.

The enemy also attempted to attack the border guard units at two other points. The preparation of the enemy's small arms units was detected by air reconnaissance.

During the enemy's advance, it was defeated. Nine occupants were killed and another 12 were wounded," the report reads.

Ukrainian border guards continue to fight for Bakhmut in Donetsk Region and keep the town under their control.
