The dangers of the current time threaten Russia with ruin, said Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia:

The country is face to face with dangers, such dangers that challenge the very existence of our country. And today we are going through such dangers. And, of course, we ask the Lord and the Queen of Heaven, who covers, we believe, all Russia with her mighty veil, that she may preserve our people and all the peoples of Russia from the outside imposed internecine strife

According to the patriarch, to Russia and "other peoples of Russia" from the outside was imposed "internecine warfare between the fraternal peoples".

At that Kirill remained silent regarding the fact that Russia invaded a neighbouring country, killed its civilians and destroyed its infrastructure in violation of all possible international agreements
