Painting Primachenko sold for half a million dollars
A painting by Ukrainian artist Maria Primachenko "Flowers grew near Unit 4" was sold at a charity auction for $500,000. The family of Maria Primachenko refused royalties in favor of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was announced on May 5 by the organizers on Facebook.
It is noted that the funds will go to the Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The starting price of the painting was five thousand dollars. As a result, the picture was purchased for half a million dollars. The buyer's name has not been released.
Primachenko created the painting "Flowers grew near the fourth block" in 1990.
