Served in the AFU and worked for the enemy: SBU unmasked an enemy informer

The Security Service of Ukraine reports this.

Military counterintelligence of the Security Service has detained another agent of the main directorate of the general staff from the Russian Federation (better known as the game) during a special operation in Kherson region. The figure turned out to be a contract woman of one of the military units of the AFU, which is stationed in the region and performs combat missions on the front line, - stated in the message.

The traitor collected for the enemy information about the drones of the Security and Defence Forces of Ukraine. First, russia was interested in using spy drones on the right bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region.

In addition, the hostile henchman collected information about the plans of the Ukrainian counter-offensive and tracked the firing positions of the air defence of the AFU and the territory of the region.

In case of successful fulfilment of hostile tasks, the occupiers promised to "evacuate" her to the Russian Federation and issue her a Russian passport. Employees of the SBU detained the attacker on an attempt to obtain secret information about Ukrainian military facilities, - reported in the SBU.

As it turned out, the suspect was recruited remotely in early 2023. The traitor got into the field of vision of the Russian special services in the forbidden social network "Vkontakte". The transfer of coordinates and photos took place through one of the messengers.

During the searches at the figure was found a mobile phone, which she used in intelligence and subversive activities in favour of Russia, - added in the SBU.

Currently, the attacker is in custody; she was informed of suspicion under part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (state treachery committed under martial law). The woman faces life imprisonment.
