The Russians are afraid of Ukrainian guerrillas and are increasing pressure on the local population.

Russian invaders in Luhansk Region are jamming mobile communications and continue to restrict entry/exit to cities they occupy. This was reported on the Telegram channel of the head of the Luhansk regional state administration, Serhiy Gayday.

He noted that the Russians were doing so because they were afraid of the Ukrainian underground. The invaders believe that local residents can pass information on the deployment of enemy troops to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Communication and Internet in settlements near the front line have never appeared, and in order for people to contact their loved ones, they have to travel deep into the region," Gaidai explained.

According to him, in addition to the fact that Ukrainians have lost contact with their loved ones during the occupation, it has become very difficult to get medical care in the occupied lands.

They converted all the hospitals into military hospitals, and even made barracks there," the LOVA head said.

Gaidai added that the Russians continue to build a second line of defence in the occupied Starobelsk, and are also actively digging trenches.

The Russians are not bad moles, because when they arrive at the front, the newly mobilized bury themselves in holes trying to keep themselves alive," Gaidai added.
