The Shalygin community suffered from shelling by the occupiers.
The Russian army has shelled the border areas of the Sumy Region. "Arrivals" were recorded on the territory of the male Orthodox monastery, cattle were killed, people were not injured, the head of the Sumy OVA, Dmytro Zhyvitskyy, said on his Telegram.
He specified that the Russian shelling affected Glinskaya hermitage, which houses the stavropigial male monastery of the UOC MP. The outhouse was damaged, two cows were killed and three were wounded. Zhivitskyy wrote:
Enemy directed 15 shells from multiple rocket launchers at border

It should be noted that the Shalyginskaya OTG is close to the Russian border, while the Glinskaya desert is located 6 kilometres from Russia.
