Fire at Kursk airfield. Local authorities say there was a drone attack


The incident took place during the night.
This was reported by Roman Starovoy, the governor of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. He said:
An oil storage tanker caught fire near Kursk airfield as a result of a drone attack. There were no casualties. The fire is being contained. All special services are working at the site.
It's reported that the explosion occurred at night, after which a fire broke out. Local authorities say the fire services are trying to extinguish the oil storage tank that caught fire
It is worth noting that this is the third emergency incident at Russian airfields in the last 24 hours.
Earlier, on 5 December, a drone fell on an airfield in the Saratov Region. And there was also an explosion at an airfield near Ryazan.
