Occupiers try to raise clouds of radioactive dust

What are ash dumps? These are places where ash is stored, which is formed during the operation of thermal power plants. These wastes have a high concentration of toxic substances and a level of radiation that is at least 2.5 times higher than the natural background. When dried, they form dust that can travel long distances.

As a result of mortar strikes on ash dumps, dust clouds are formed, which are carried by the wind around Energodar. Monitoring of the radiation background, which is carried out near the nuclear power plant, indicates an increase in the level of radiation, the report says.

It is reported that the invaders are trying to present these data as the results of mythical "shelling by the Ukrainian military."
