The total cost of the bridges is about $3 million.

Norway Postsen reports this, citing Norwegian Foreign Minister Anniken Guitfeldt.

The Norwegian bridges are intended primarily to restore normal communications in regions where bridges have been destroyed in the fighting.

The total cost of the bridges is NOK 30 million (about $3 million), and they will be financed from the humanitarian budget of the Foreign Ministry.

Russia's war has cynically destroyed important parts of Ukraine's infrastructure. Ukraine is totally dependent on normal road links to provide food, water, medicine, and transport the wounded to hospitals.

The disassembled structures will be transported to Ukraine in 32 trailers. The first batch set off on Tuesday.
