US may hand Ukraine a battery of Patriot air defence systems

If the decision is positive, Ukraine will receive from the USA one battery of Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems, which includes up to eight launchers.

The system also includes radar, control station, computers, generators. Normally about 90 people are needed to operate and maintain the system, but three military personnel can handle the actual launch of the systems.
It was previously stated that the Ukrainian military would learn in Germany how to operate Patriot systems.
