North Korea may send another 100,000 military personnel to Russia - Bloomberg

In addition to people, North Korea has supplied Russia with long-range missile and artillery systems.
North Korea may send up to 100,000 servicemen to help Russia in the war in Ukraine. Bloomberg writes about this, citing experts' assessments.
They point out that North Korean soldiers are likely to arrive in Russia in batches, from where they will be sent to the front.
Such a move is inevitable if military co-operation between the countries strengthens," the publication writes.
Bloomberg emphasises that sending DPRK troops to Russia indicates that the war in Ukraine is becoming global.
The issue will be raised at the G-20 summit in Brazil this week, including by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz during his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Concerns were also expressed by allies at the APEC meeting in Lima, Peru, last week," the publication said.
Earlier, US presidential national security adviser Jake Sullivan said that Washington is ready to respond to Russia with coordinated political decisions together with allies on the participation of the DPRK military in combat operations in the Kursk region. He pointed out that the US will discuss the adoption of measures with Japan and South Korea.
Earlier, the US State Department said that more than 10,000 North Korean soldiers arrived in eastern Russia, most of whom were deployed near Kursk.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin submitted a draft on ratification of the treaty on "comprehensive strategic partnership" between Russia and North Korea to the Russian State Duma. Russia and North Korea signed the treaty on 19 June 2024. The Duma ratified the treaty on 24 October.
Already on October 23, US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin confirmed for the first time that North Korean soldiers had indeed arrived in Russia. North Korea itself called the reports "baseless rumours".
Ukrainian intelligence reported that Russia has gathered 50,000 occupiers and DPRK soldiers for an offensive in the Kursk region. They are about to launch a ground offensive to retake part of the region, which is controlled by Ukraine.
