The Verkhovna Rada voted for the appointment of Andrey Kostin, a deputy from the Servant of the People.
Yulia Paliychuk, the Servant of the People faction speaker, announced this on Telegram.
On July 27, President Zelensky submitted a resolution to the Verkhovna Rada proposing the appointment of Andriy Kostin, People's Deputy of the Servant of the People, as Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
Andrei Kostin is the MP from the Servant of the People and head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy. Kostin 2010 was a member of the Odessa City Council. Lawyer by education.
The Committee is responsible for judicial reform.
