NATO wants to invest in Soviet weaponry used by Ukraine

NATO is looking for different ways to help Ukraine most effectively.
This was reported by CNN, citing a statement by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
He said that NATO member states are considering the option of investing in Soviet-era weapons systems used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to fight against Russia.
Part of it does go to Soviet-era systems that they have had in their inventory for decades, and, for example, to ensure the availability of ammunition for those systems. And in some cases it may require producing things that have not been produced for some time. So we look at it all from all sides.
It has been reported before that NATO is discussing investments in old factories in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Bulgaria to resume production of Soviet-era shells for Ukrainian artillery, which is still often Soviet.
