Kyiv remains one of the enemy's priority targets.
The enemy did not give up trying to seize the Ukrainian capital, and in two or three months an attack from the Russian army on the city is possible. According to the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Sergei Naev, this is how much time the enemy will need to prepare an offensive operation, he said on the air of the national telethon.
A second attack on Kyiv is possible. To do this, it is necessary to create such forces. This will take a certain amount of time. It takes 2-3 months to create the appropriate forces, and we felt it, Naev said.
Naev also did not rule out the participation of Belarus in the war against Ukraine on the side of Russia. However, as he stressed, Minsk will not make such decisions on its own, but will wait for Moscow's go-ahead.
The lieutenant general stressed that the Ukrainian army is considering all options for the further development of the situation at the front. According to him, the military takes into account the previous experience of conducting military operations in the Kiev direction and is doing everything necessary to strengthen the defense.
If there are changes in the enemy’s situation, we will change our composition of forces accordingly,” Naev assured.
At the same time, Sergei Naev assured that at the moment the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine does not observe the concentration of personnel and military equipment of the RF Armed Forces, which can be used for a land attack on Kyiv.
