A group of Ukrainian soldiers died on Russian territory during a combat mission

This was reported by a serviceman of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Yevhen Karas, on Telegram.

on 26 December, the Russian Federal Security Service said that Ukrainian servicemen had allegedly infiltrated the territory of the Bryansk Region. It also reported that the Ukrainians had been killed

The details of the Ukrainian military were also made public. The special service said that the following were killed while trying to enter Russian territory: Yuriy Gorovets, born in 1988, call sign "Svyatosha", whom the Russians called the group commander; Maxim Mikhailov, born in 1990, call sign "Nepiypivo"; Taras Karpyuk, born in 1984, call sign "Tarasy"; Bogdan Lyagov, born in 2003, call sign "Apollon".

The deaths of the Ukrainian servicemen were subsequently confirmed by Yevhen Karas, an AFU fighter. The group most likely hit a mine field. Karas told his own Telegram about the dead.
