Ukrainian Foreign Ministry comments on appointment of sexologist as Ukraine's ambassador to Bulgaria


The Bulgarian government also endorsed Ilashchuk's candidacy.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's press service has published its comments on the appointment of sexologist Olesya Ilashchuk as Bulgaria's ambassador on its website.
As for the appointment of Olesya Ilashchuk as Ambassador, according to information available to the Foreign Ministry, she received a diploma with honors in Krainology from the International Relations Department of the Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations of the Chernivtsi National University named after Yuri Fedkovich. She is qualified as a specialist in international relations and a translator. She is fluent in English.
The Foreign Ministry stressed that the ambassador's performance should be evaluated on the basis of performance and not on interpretations and insults.
Furthermore, the Bulgarian government, after assessing Ilashchuk's candidacy, endorsed her and made no remarks or reservations.
