Gaidai also said that Ukrainian aviation over the past day hit 13 areas of concentration of manpower and equipment of Russians in the Luhansk region. Three anti-aircraft missile systems of the invaders were also attacked.
In addition, air defense units shot down five enemy UAVs and one Ka-52 helicopter, Gaidai wrote.
According to him, the rocket troops and artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted fire damage on more than two hundred enemy targets.
Among them are 12 command posts, warehouses of ammunition and fuel and lubricants, artillery positions and areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment, - said Gaidai.
Earlier, the leader of the so-called "LNR" Leonid Pasechnik acknowledged the successes of the Ukrainian military. He stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are located near the borders with the Luhansk region.
To date, Russian troops and militants have captured almost the entire territory of the region, Ukrainian defenders control only a few villages.
