- In Luhansk Region, occupants announced "holidays" for schoolchildren in summer camps in Russia

Russian occupants continue committing grave war crimes and kidnapping Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories.
The Russians intend to take Ukrainian minors from the temporarily occupied Luhansk Region to the Russian Federation under the guise of "summer vacation" in Russia. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported about this in an evening operational bulletin.
It is noted that relevant announcements of the upcoming "holiday" for children have already been made in a number of settlements in Stchastinsky district.
The Russian invaders cynically continue to carry out illegal removal of children from the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region. In some settlements of Stchastny district, the occupiers have announced so-called recreation for schoolchildren in summer camps in the Russian Federation," the General Staff noted.
We would like to add that after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russian invaders started kidnapping Ukrainian children from the seized territories and taking them to the Russian Federation. By the end of March, Ukraine had established the names of 19,500 deported children. The total number of Ukrainian minors deported may be as high as 200,000.
The Russians place the deported children in orphanages, tell them that their parents have abandoned them and give them up for illegal adoption to Russians.
The International Criminal Court in The Hague sees the deportation of children as part of a case of genocide of the Ukrainian people committed by the Russians. The ICC has already named Russian President Vladimir Putin and the aggressor country's children's ombudsman, Maria Lvova-Belova, as implicated in this crime and issued a life-long arrest warrant against them.
