Parade of destroyed Russian equipment takes place on Khreshchatyk (photo, video)

For the second year in a row, Kyiv refuses to hold mass events on Independence Day, but there is plenty to see. An exhibition of destroyed Russian equipment opened on Khreshchatyk.
The Russian invaders dreamed of riding tanks through the Ukrainian capital. This is the second time Russian equipment is participating in the parade on Khreshchatyk, but there is a nuance - it is burnt and completely broken.
On the main street of Kyiv, everyone can look at different samples of Russian equipment: tanks, self-propelled howitzers, armoured personnel carriers, remnants of downed missiles and much more. The exhibition will last until 28 August.
A total of about 20 pieces of equipment are being demonstrated on Khreshchatyk.
Kyiv citizens and guests of the capital are already attending a kind of "parade" of Russian equipment destroyed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Traffic was restricted for the exhibition. From 21 to 28 August, a section of the road from Maidan Nezalezhnosti to Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Street was blocked. At the same time, traffic was resumed along Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Street from Khreshchatyk to Volodymyrska Street.
The National Police and the State Emergency Situations Service were engaged to ensure order during the holidays. They protect public order and ensure the safety of visitors. At the same time, residents and guests of the capital are urged to be as attentive and cautious as possible and not to neglect the air alarm signals.

We want to add that no other mass and festive events are planned for Ukraine's State Flag Day and Independence Day. Just as in the past, Kyiv limited itself to demonstrating the destroyed equipment of the Russian occupiers.
