A remote special machine is used for demining in Chernihiv region (photo)

For almost a year and a half, sappers of the State Emergency Service have been clearing the land of Chernihiv region of various munitions. This is reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.

To demine all territories pyrotechnic units pass metre by metre, carefully examining every scrap of land. However, still large areas of land remain potentially dangerous, - stated in the message.

From the Interregional Rapid Response Centre of the State Emergency Service to help Chernihiv sappers sent a specialised team with a mechanised demining machine DOK-ING MV-4.

This remote control machine will significantly accelerate the demining process, and most importantly - will protect the lives of pyrotechnics, - reported in the State Emergency Service.

It is reported that on the territory of Chernihiv region sappers have already identified more than 52 thousand units of ammunition, surveyed almost 40 thousand hectares of land, including more than 37 thousand hectares of agricultural land.
