We want to end the war by winter - Danilov

Ukraine wants to end the war by winter 2023, so the AFU will launch a counter-offensive "when necessary".
The secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, has said this, Zerkalo Nedeli has reported.
According to Danilov, the main task for the Defence Forces is the result. That is why he did not say when to expect counterattacks by the Ukrainian army. Because, according to Danilov, the concept "in the near future is different for everyone and can mean a day or two, a week or a month".
The military knows exactly what to do. They are professionals and have proved to the world that our army is ready for battle. Moreover, we are striking the enemy where he least expects it. I think it will be the same this time," he explained.
We shall remind you that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have advanced two kilometres in the Bakhmut direction. They also did not lose a single position in Bakhmut during the week.
