More than 300 million hryvnias of the son of Yanukovych were transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine

During the pre-trial investigation, the prosecutors of the Office of the Prosecutor General seized the funds of officials of the All-Ukrainian Development Bank and directly the funds of the son of the ex-president. This was reported in the office of the Prosecutor General.

The owner of 100% of the shares of the financial institution was the son of Viktor Yanukovych. The property was confiscated immediately after the start of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine. The cost of the arrested then amounted to 2.6 billion hryvnia.

Bank employees tried to hide the origin of the cash. After all, money has no legal source of origin. Therefore, bank workers legalized proceeds of crime with the help of financial transactions, - reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General.

The court ruled to send the seized funds of PJSC "All-Ukrainian Development Bank" to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Currently, 304 million hryvnias have been credited to a special account to ensure the defense capability of Ukraine, the office of the Prosecutor General said.

In 2015, the National Bank of Ukraine deprived the institution of its financial license and liquidated the bank, but the state registration of the company was stopped only in 2021.
