Missile troops and artillery may appear in the structure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
In the structure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a group of people's deputies proposed the creation of a separate branch of the armed forces - rocket troops and artillery.
Bill No. 7379 was registered in the Rada on May 17, Interfax-Ukraine writes.
As stated in the explanatory note, the fighting on the territory of Ukraine showed the high efficiency of the use of rocket and artillery formations and units. In modern conditions of warfare, this type of troops is decisive for achieving strategic success in the theater of operations.
It is noted that the law "On the Armed Forces of Ukraine" determines the structure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, among its components there is no such separate branch of the military as rocket troops and artillery, which negatively affects the course and results of the tasks assigned to the Ukrainian army to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state. Therefore, the bill proposes to make appropriate additions to Article 3 of the current law.
