- The mayor of Kharkov called the terms of the restoration of the city

After the war, the city's borders are planned to be expanded.
The restoration of Kharkov is possible two or three years after the victory of Ukraine in the war with Russia. Mayor Igor Terekhov announced this at a press conference organized for foreign media.
He also said that the timing of the restoration of the city of Kharkov will depend on the financial support of international partners - banks and investment funds.
According to Terekhov, after the war, the boundaries of the city can be expanded and housing estates can be built there. They will be connected by new road arteries.
The plan for the renewal of Kharkov is being created under the continuous shelling of the Russian occupiers. I want us to start implementing it immediately after the victory. We can restore everything in two or three years. I am sure that we will create an ideal city of the future,” Terekhov said.
Currently, due to enemy shelling in the city, about 25% of the housing stock, many administrative buildings, schools, hospitals, kindergartens, and infrastructure facilities have been destroyed.
