Russian human rights activist says why air defence systems are being deployed in Moscow

Kremlin "preparing strikes against 'decision-making centres'" - Feigin.

Russian human rights activist and opposition politician Mark Feygin has drawn attention to the fact that the Russian authorities are installing air defence systems in Moscow, placing them on the roofs of administrative buildings. He believes that this may indicate that the Kremlin is "preparing for strikes on decision-making centres", the Russian opposition figure told Channel 24.

"I think they are preparing strikes on the 'decision-making centres' in Ukraine. They want to hit Bankova, kill Zelensky, but they understand that this will not go unpunished," the Russian human rights activist suggested.

According to Feygin, the Kremlin understands that they can "get an answer". And Vladimir Putin is a mistrustful man. That is why air defence systems have been installed near his residence in Novo-Ogarevo.

"Anything concerning strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure and 'decision-making centres' will sell well in Russia," the opposition activist said.

Feygin, on the other hand, refuted the suggestion that the air defence systems in Moscow were only propaganda, as the Institute for the Study of War had previously claimed.

According to Feygin, if the Kremlin was solely pursuing propaganda, it would have found other softer ways, as Russians are already "obediently going to the front.
