Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense told whether Belarus will attack

Belarus is already participating in the war, but at the moment, there is no threat of a ground offensive; the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be ready to respond if danger appears. Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, said this in an interview.

If we talk about the situation at the front, now there is no threat of a ground operation from Belarus. If such a threat is created, Ukraine will know about it, and the society will be informed. But different scenarios are being worked out; the Armed Forces are ready for other systems,” Andrey Yusov said.

Yusov recalled that Belarus has been participating in the war since the first day of a full-scale invasion.

For air strikes on its territory, the Belarusian military's recruitment into the armed forces or private military companies' ranks, and the repair of military equipment. These are already known facts,” Yusov recalled.

In conclusion, Andrei Yusov expressed his opinion about Belarus and the future of this country.

Belarus is a state directly dependent on the Russian Federation in many aspects and where there is no democracy. Strategically, I am sure Belarus will be a civilized European democratic country, but there is a long way to go before that,” Yusov believes.
