Kuleba answers whether Russia really wants to negotiate
Commander-in-Chief

Russia does not accept Zelensky's "peace formula".

Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said this in an interview with National Public Radio.

The politician admitted that he did not see any signs indicating the real readiness of the Russian side to negotiate. Therefore Ukraine wants to continue searching for a peaceful diplomatic solution according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's "peace formula".

In fact, we see that they rule out the "peace formula" proposed by President Zelensky. But this does not mean that we should not try to continue. Russia may like or dislike this, but we are talking about creating a coalition - a coalition of countries ready to seek a diplomatic solution in line with President Zelensky's proposals.

We shall remind you that as previously stated by the presidential office, Ukraine is ready to end the war with Russia at any time, but only under the conditions outlined in the "peace formula" proposed by the head of state, Volodymyr Zelensky.

In the interview, Kuleba also answered why Ukraine should be helped in this fight against Russia. Because, in his opinion, if Ukraine loses, some countries would prefer to follow the Russian path and take the same risks: invade, commit atrocities, destroy territory.
