The government approved a ban on the export of Ukrainian coal

Oleg Kotov
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has completely banned the export of coal, which is mined in Ukraine.
This was announced by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk in a Telegram.
Changes have been made to the volume of quotas for goods whose export is subject to licensing, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of December 29, 2021 No. 1424, in terms of a complete ban on the export of coal of Ukrainian origin, Taras Melnychuk said.
Previously, the export ban on energy resources, introduced in June, did not cover the export of coal coke.
Presumably, these are preventive measures that are being taken for Ukraine to pass the heating season.
