Many use Ukrainian passports when escaping.
Every day Donetsk leaves from 20 to 40 buses that run from the so-called "DPR". Some people go to Russia. Others choose Lithuania, Finland, Germany as their destinations. This was reported by the Center for Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
And some even safely settle in Ukraine, the report says.
At the same time, refugees who want to get to Europe use Ukrainian passports.
Donetsk, having been under Russian occupation for 8 years, lived a peaceful life as much as possible.
But in June 2022, explosions became more frequent in Donetsk, in particular, “arrivals” were recorded at civilian facilities. In early June, the Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council informed that Russia massively shelled Donetsk in order to blame the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, the Donetsk residents themselves noticed that the shelling was carried out from the territory controlled by the Russian military, and not by Ukrainian forces.
On July 4, Russian troops again began to cover Donetsk with fire. There were a lot of hits on civilian objects, including a kindergarten and a high-rise building. Thus, the Russians "responded" to the fact that the Armed Forces of Ukraine dealt a blow to their military infrastructure.
