It became known how much money Denmark will allocate for the restoration of Nikolaev

Mykolaiv is one of the most war-affected cities in Ukraine, third after Kharkiv and Mariupol.
The Danish government is ready to allocate more than 21m dollars for the reconstruction of Mykolayiv. This was reported by the Ministry of Infrastructure.
The new aid package became known at the fourth meeting of the special supervisory committee co-chaired by Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov and Danish Minister of Co-operation and Development of Global Climate Policy Dan Jorgensen.
As stated, Denmark is ready to allocate money for projects in the agricultural sector (demining of agricultural land), provision of cogeneration plants (a set of equipment operating on the method of combined production of electricity and heat energy or turning the discharge energy potential of technological processes into electricity or heat energy), as well as the reconstruction of the dormitory of the Nikolaev State Agrarian University.
In the spring of 2023, Denmark took patronage over Nikolaev and the Nikolaev region for the reconstruction. Since then, several projects have already been implemented in the regional centre.
It should be noted that Nikolaev is one of the most affected regional centres as a result of Russian attacks. According to the Kyiv School of Economics, the preliminary damage to the city is estimated at 860m dollars.
