Study: who Ukrainian children went abroad with after 24 February

Almost one in ten children fled the war in Ukraine abroad with people other than their parents.
This was stated in a survey by the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights.
Having conducted the survey, the European agency cited the following figures: the majority of children left Ukraine only with their mother (76 %). Only every seventh child (14 %) left the war with both parents. Almost every tenth child (9 %) left not with their parents, but with other people.
This survey was conducted online between 22 August 2022 and 29 September 2022.
The survey was conducted in 10 EU countries: Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Spain and Estonia.
A total of 14 685 respondents took part in the survey.
