There are no damages or casualties in the area.

This was announced by the head of the Lviv OVA Maxim Kozitsky. He wrote on his Telegram page:

Air defense forces shot down an Iranian Shahed kamikaze drone over the Lviv region. There are no damages or casualties in the area. Thanks to our defenders from the West Air Command for their brilliant work!

He also warned that drone attacks could happen again today. Therefore, he asked not to neglect the air raid alert and go to the shelter. Kozitsky wrote a short instruction on how to identify an Iranian drone:

  • Iranian drones, launched by the enemy throughout Ukraine, have a characteristic sound reminiscent of a moped engine, a chainsaw or a lawn mower.
  • "Shahid" flies at low altitude. It looks like a black triangle in the sky. Its size is approximately 3 * 3 meters.
