Russian occupiers said that foreign ships are now state property

This is reported by the publication Hromadske with reference to Reuters.

Two foreign ships: one is Smarta owned by a Liberian company, the other is a Panamanian ship Blue Star.

The occupation authorities, through their “Ministry of Foreign Affairs” of the “DPR”, reported that these vessels are subject to “compulsory alienation of movable property with forced transfer to state ownership” without any compensation.

"Such forcible appropriation is a violation of fundamental human rights regarding property rights," the Liberian company said in a statement.
