IAEA to hold consultations over Russian appropriation of ZNPP

This is stated in a statement by IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi.

The Director General of the organization will hold consultations with the relevant authorities in connection with reports that Russia plans to oversee the operation of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant in Ukraine.

This week Grossi is in Kyiv and is negotiating here. On the next one he goes to Russia.

In Russia, he will continue negotiations aimed at agreeing and introducing a nuclear and security zone around the Zaporizhzhya NPP
