11:20, 15.07.2022

It is believed that this fish is a harbinger of disasters.

Local fishermen in the city of Arica caught a huge fish.

This is a belt fish, which is also called the king of herring. The fish, which was caught in Chile, has a length of about five meters. This is a record figure.

These fish live at great depths and rise to the surface only in case of illness, death or during reproduction.

It is popularly believed that if you catch one, then a tsunami, earthquake or other disasters will soon begin.

In Japan, dozens of herring kings were noticed shortly before the Fukushima earthquake, which led to the tsunami.
