The heads of the Interior Ministries of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia in a letter of appeal to the Belarusian authorities demand that the mercenaries of PMC "Wagner" leave Belarus, as well as illegal migrants - the border areas.

This was announced by Polish Minister of Interior and Administration Mariusz Kaminski, reports Polish Radio.

According to the head of the Interior Ministry of Poland, these are elements that are "necessary to stabilise the situation on the border with Belarus. According to Kaminski, the situation on the Polish-Belarusian border is aggravating.

We have made demands to the Belarusian authorities, Lukashenka's regime, that the Wagner group should immediately leave the territory of Belarus, as well as illegal migrants, concentrated there by the Belarusian services, should immediately leave the border areas, and that these migrants should be sent to their countries of origin," stressed the Polish Interior Minister.

Mariusz Kaminski said that "a large number of mercenaries from the so-called group "Wagner," several thousand mercenaries, an extremely dangerous group, which poses a very real threat to the security of Belarusian citizens, as well as the entire region, has been on the territory of Belarus for several weeks.

The heads of the Interior Ministries of the Baltic States and Poland met in Warsaw to agree on the details of a possible complete closure of the borders with Belarus.
