Among the prisoners to be exchanged are militants of the "DPR" and "LPR.
Russia and Ukraine exchanged prisoners according to the formula 50 to 50. Denis Pushilin, the leader of the "DPR" militants, wrote about this in his telegram channel:
Today, another exchange with Kyiv is taking place according to the formula 50 to 50. We give Ukraine mainly VES troops
He added that among the 50 Russian prisoners of war, seven are from the "DNR", and two are from the "LNR".
The previous exchange of prisoners took place on 26 October. It was announced by the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak. Ukraine has returned ten servicemen, including one officer. In addition, the body of American Joshua Alan Jones, who participated in the conflict on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was handed over to Kyiv.
At the same time, the "all for all" exchange does not suit Russia yet, but the Ukrainian authorities are working on this issue.
