Szijjártó also wants to negotiate the supply of nuclear fuel with the director-general of Rosatom.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó announced his visit on Facebook.

According to information from Facebook, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó arrived in the Russian capital on Tuesday, April 11.

According to Szijjártó himself, during his visit to Moscow he will discuss supplies of gas, oil and nuclear fuel to Hungary, stressing the importance of these supplies for his country's energy security.

The trip will also include talks with Russian Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Aleksandr Novak and then with Rosatom CEO Alexei Likhachev.

In the meantime, Rosatom continues to run the Zaporizhzhya NPP, which has been seized by the occupiers and poses a threat to all of Europe.

It is worth recalling that this is the third time Szijjártó has visited Russia, since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
