G7 countries plan to attract $600 billion in infrastructure development in developing countries by 2027
This is reported by the publication Channel 24 with reference to Reuters.
At the G7 summit conference, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz spoke about the implications for the global economy.
All members of the G7 are concerned about the crisis we are facing, the slowdown in economic growth, the increase in inflation, the shortage of raw materials, interruptions in the supply of energy resources - all these factors together promise considerable problems, Scholz said.
In addition, Scholz said that the G7 countries plan to raise $600 billion in infrastructure development for developing countries by 2027 as part of an initiative to counter China's multi-trillion-dollar "One Belt, One Road" project. 200 billion dollars will allocate the United States.
This money will be directed to climate and energy security, digital communications, healthcare and gender equality.
