Estonia to send field rear saunas to Ukraine

The logistics complex will allow each soldier of a battalion to go to a warm sauna once a week and wash his uniform.
Estonia will organise field rear saunas for the Ukrainian military. It will be possible to take a bath there at least once a week and wash their clothes, Siim Nellis, head of the company OÜ Huum, who together with partners has undertaken the procurement and shipment of such saunas, told BNS
According to Nellis, "the sauna will give soldiers at the frontline the opportunity to take a sauna bath and then wash their laundry in the field.
The first to receive the sauna complex from Estonia will be the Carpathian Sich volunteer battalion, which has been at the front since March.
The bathing and laundry complex can cater for at least 400 soldiers a week and consists of three sea containers transported by military trucks. One container houses a sauna, another a laundry with five washing and drying machines, and the third container has a secondary function; it houses water tanks and electric generators.
The machines can be moved to different locations along the front line
The complex will arrive in Ukraine tentatively in a few days
