Erdogan stated that Putin wants a plant to produce Bayraktars

In his speech, Erdogan, the leader of this party, first asked his associates to convey to the voters that Turkey played a huge role in the creation of the "grain corridor", and then spoke about weapons. In particular, he said that Putin is showing interest in an agreement and even the construction of a plant for the production of Bayraktar drones produced by the Turkish company Baykar.

Erdogan did not provide other details. It is known that on August 5 he intends to visit Moscow.

At the same time, Baykar takes a pro-Ukrainian position, its CEO Haluk Bayraktar said on July 19 that he would not deliver drones to Russia.

The manufacturers of the legendary drones are connected with Erdogan by family ties.
