- Dozens of dead and wounded in Sumy

There were many people in the streets of the city at the time of the strike.
On the morning of 13 April, Russian occupation troops launched missile strikes on Sumy. Acting mayor Artem Kobzar said that there were many dead. Kobzar later added that more than 20 dead were known.
However, a video from the scene suggests that there could be many more victims of the Russian attack.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to Russia's horrific ballistic strike on Sumy on the morning of 13 April, saying that preliminary reports suggest that dozens of dead and wounded civilians were involved.
Enemy missiles hit an ordinary city street, an ordinary life: houses, educational institutions, cars on the street... And this on a day when people go to church: Palm Sunday, the holiday of the Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem," he said.
Only a bastard could do such a thing," Zeensky added.
At this point, it is known that at least 21 people have died and 20 others have been injured. The victims of the attack were in the middle of the street, in cars, in public transport, in houses.
Sumy was attacked by two ballistic missiles. Because of the impact damaged residential and non-residential buildings. In the epicentre of the attack hit the premises of the regional Centre for the Protection of Human Rights.
The police restricted access to the site of the strike. A headquarters is being set up in the city to receive applications and help the victims.
