Magura V5 maritime drones attacked the Russian warship Sergei Kotov, it sustained damage to its stern, sides and sank.
A special unit of the State Security Service of Ukraine (GSU ) has attacked the Russian Black Sea Fleet patrol ship Sergey Kotov with Magura V5 drones. This was reported by the GUR on 5 March.
In the night from 4 to 5 March 2024 special unit of the GUR of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine "Group 13" attacked the patrol ship of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation "Sergei Kotov", - stated in the message.
It is noted that the mission took place in cooperation with the Navy of the AFU and with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
As a result of a strike by marine drones "Magura V5" Russian ship of the project 22160 "Sergey Kotov" received damage to the stern, starboard and port sides, - reported in the GSD.
The fire defeat of the enemy ship took place in the territorial waters of Ukraine, near the Kerch Strait.
The cost of the sunk ship is about 65 million dollars.
